We had a wonderful at the RCMP Academy and the Governor’s home. We were able to see the interpretive center, the grounds and as well as the Sgt Mayor’s Parade. Mike enjoyed it and felt like he was back in the military! RCMP is a mix of our military and police. They have a rich history.
We also learned a lot about the government in Canada and how it operates. The Queen is the head with appointment heads (represents her) of governor general and each province has a lt. governor. The people elect a premier for each province and the country elects a prime minister. They all work together and the people seem happy with the arrangement.
The weather was great today- sunny and 78 degrees.
