I am sorry that I am off schedule in writing my blog. Our trip through Denali was great, interesting but long. The kids were great and loved all the animals we saw as we rode the 92.4 miles into interior of the park. We saw moose, caribou, dall sheep, brown bears and lots of small animals. The roads as we went into the park got narrow and winding around the mountains. It was a nice day except for a few clouds but we able to see the peaks of Mt. McKinley. Our tour/driver was great and she was originally from Madison, WS. She was able to connect plants and animals to the web of life. Our trip lasted 13 hours.
Did you know that Denali Park is 6 million acres in size? It is the largest national park in the US. The trip was worth the time and money.
